Recent warnings of major travel chaos have prompted Ryanair passengers to check one essential item: their travel documents.


According to Ryanair's Help Centre and other sources, a valid travel document is required for check-in. This typically includes a valid passport or a valid National Identity Card, depending on the destination. The airline has also been vocal about other potential issues, such as understaffed border controls, which have led to hundreds of passengers missing flights.


In addition to travel documents, there have been other travel advisories for Ryanair passengers, including:


Baggage: A "little-known" rule requires payment for oversized bags at the gate to be made via card, as cash is not accepted.


Liquids: The standard regulations for liquids in carry-on baggage still apply, with containers limited to 100ml and placed in a clear, resealable plastic bag.


Medical items: Passengers who need to carry or use special medical equipment must contact the airline's Special Assistance Team in advance to obtain a waiver letter.
